Quality education in a small school setting
Our community is passionate about ensuring every child experiences success with their learning every day. In the small school setting we have the flexibility to adjust learning programs and structure to suit every student’s individual needs.
All students engage in a curriculum that is aligned with the Australian curriculum and C2C units are delivered with the focus on the principles of effective learning, explicit teaching and quality schooling. Students in years 3 and 5 participate in annual National testing.
All students participate in a rigorous school based assessment and monitoring schedule throughout the year to ensure your child’s academic progress is kept foremost in our minds and informs the teaching and learning process.
Our school is currently implementing the Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support Program as a major component of our Responsible behaviour plan.
Specialist services including learning support and guidance services, music and physical education, Language other than English (Japanese) and religion teachers visit the school on a regular basis.
