During the last term of 2020, all students in years 5 were encouraged to actively take part in leadership activities and were given the opportunity to be elected as our school leaders for 2021. Leadership activities were commenced in Term 4, 2020 and the students had been given clear expectations for these roles. Among these expectations is the need to be a role model in the following ways:
Lead by example by modelling appropriate behaviours at all times.
Apply themselves to all areas of their school work, including the completion of homework.
Be prepared to represent our school at community events e.g. ANZAC Day.
Be prepared to speak in public.
Wear the full school uniform each day, including shoes.
Be honest, reliable, and caring.
Be punctual.
Students striving to hold one of these leadership positions need to have pride in our school and be prepared to commit to fulfilling their role to the best of their ability.
